BOok Bucket List

The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan

For the past two years I have been reading this series and now that it is winding down to a close i feel sad. I chose this book because I just can not wait to finish this series. Rick Riordan has created a multi-book series that rivals that of Harry Potter.

Fang by James Patterson
This is another series i have wanted to have some resolution to. I have been looking for this book for about two years now and now that i have finely found it I am very excited to read this book. I really enjoy the way this author writes his books, they are very descriptive and easy to get a mental picture.

Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer

I have had lots of friends refer me to this book. I never thought i would read this to be honest. But a very good friend of mine deferred me to it so i had to read it. I dont know what to expect from this series but i hope it is as good as people say.

Gregor the Overlander Series by Suzanne Collins

After reading the hunger games I started looking for another book by this author and i found this series. An online review I found stated that, "Its marvelous setting and glorious characters rival that of the Hunger Games!" Now if a book rivals the Hunger Games it has to be good.

Fallen Angles by Walter Dean Myers

From the cover of the book i could tell it is a Vietnam war book. I have read Vietnam war books before, and have immensely enjoyed each one. I would have to say my favorite Vietnam war book would have to be Cracker, and I can only hope this book is as good.

Tunnels by Roderick Gordon

I don't know any thing about this book but the cover looks very interesting. Also it seems to have a good deal of four to five star reviews on Amazon.com. Speculating from the cover mabey the book is about buried treasure or some secrete under ground society.

Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger

I chose this book because it is considered an american classic. My dad also read this book recently and said it was one of his favorite books he has ever read.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in The Night Time by Mark Haddon

The same friend who referred me to twilight also told me to check this book out when i get a chance.
He said it was one of the most interesting stories and had many good descriptive details.

The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor

This book had one the most interesting book cover I have ever seen. With robots on the front it intersted me that the book was a revamp of Alice in WonderLand

Titanic Forgiveness

In the case of the Titanic i would forgive the captain because he had no idea that there was an ice-berg ahead, even though they knew they were ahead. I would not forgive any of the crew who got on life boats and left with them half full. I would forgive the people on the boats who didn't go back for the drowning people because they were probably almost frozen to death and couldn't think properly

A Soldiers Forgiveness

In the case of the soldier who followed his commanders orders and kills an unarmed mother and child, the soldier committed a terrible crime. He or she, did not use there moral senses or code of ethics in the situation. Even if the commander said  he/she was going to kill me if I didn't kill the mother and child. I would think of my family. I would rather be dead or in jail than alive with the burden of knowing I killed innocent people.
